The Validation of the Strategic Action Plan for WONECAM and National Climate Change and Gender Action workshop was held from 22nd to 23rd October 2025 at Crossroads Hotel, Lilongwe, Malawi. The event brought together key stakeholders from government ministries, development partners, and civil society organizations to review and validate the Strategic Action Plan aimed at advancing climate change and gender-responsive initiatives in Malawi. Organized in collaboration with the NDC Partnership, the workshop emphasized the integration of gender equality and women’s empowerment into national climate action frameworks to ensure inclusive and sustainable development.
